Dart Frog Care Sheet
-Poisonous? In the wild they are poisonous. Once removed these beautiful animals soon lose their toxicity without the environment providing needed chemicals.
-Temperature: Ideally kept 70F-80F. Lows of 64F at night are
acceptable.
-Humidity: High humidity is needed, 80% or higher.
Out of their tanks in our arid environment they quickly
dry out.
-Feeding: Flightless Fruitflies are the staple food of Dart Frogs.
Springtails, bean beetles, termites are nice supplements
-Vitamins: Dust insects with a calcium and a vitamin powder.

-Lighting: The frogs do not require any special lighting. They do require a day night cycle. The plants in the tanks often require special lighting. For lighting to promote photosynthesis look for the Kelvin rating: 6500K.
